ABSU Student K!lled in c¥lt Clash
Emmanuel, a final year student at Abia State University (ABSU), has lost his life in a deadly clash between rival cult groups. Reports indicate that Emmanuel, a new member of the Black Axe (Aye) Confraternity, was involved in an operation against the rival c¥lt group, Vikings, on Monday, March 11.
Eyewitnesses recount that during the confrontation, Emmanuel was sh0t and desperately attempted to flee for safety. However, he was overtaken by members of the rival c¥lt group who inflicted a f@tal gunsh0t, tragically ending his l!fe.
The distressing moment was captured in a viral video showing Emmanuel struggling to escape before he was k!ll€d. His classmates and friends have expressed profound grief on social media, highlighting that Emmanuel had just completed his final examinations before the unfortunate incident.
The incident occurred at Miracle Lodge, a residence within the ABSU campus, prompting fear among students who have fled the area to ensure their safety.
Confirming the incident, ASP Maureen Chinaka, spokesperson for the Abia State Police Command, stated that the authorities swiftly responded to the scene in collaboration with the military. Their intervention led to the dispersal of the culprits, with the victim’s body evacuated to the morgue for further investigation.
